Wind, trees, Japan No. 8
2024 - 40cm x 30cm - Acrylic on canvas - palette knife and brush - on stretcher
Does Japan look like this? Or is the imagination playing tricks again and creating a false image, better or worse? The land created from Japanese symbols seems to be vast, cold, smelling of cherry, water and frost. You can even feel delicate leaves swirling in the air, hitting your face. But this is just an imagination. And what do you think? What is it really like? Isn't this image idealized? Maybe it doesn't fully reflect the beauty that really exists there. Do you also often imagine different things, situations, the future, or do you delve nostalgically into the past? Isn't it really so that only the main "symbols" and characteristic elements match, and the rest is completely different and completely off the mark? Why does the imagination so often play tricks on us?

The paintings are sold without a frame - the first photo is a preview visualization only.
The painting may not have a perfect square or rectangular shape due to unevenness of the stretcher frame because it was created from scratch by hand and they appeared by accident, or the stretcher frame was specially curved for the purpose of imitating something, or for other purposes consistent with its message.
Some paintings do not have a stretcher frame and are sold as canvas only - ready to be stretched yourself.
