“He saw only pure beauty. Day, night, dawn, and dusk seemed to exist simultaneously. He felt both peace and unrest at the same time. He couldn’t fully comprehend what he was looking at. Was it reality, or was it a dream? These questions constantly circled in his mind. He longed to immerse himself in this calm water, yet at the same time, lie in the flames of fire. Was this safe? He could control the stars – extinguish them and light them at will. But could he climb trees? Laugh and cry? Play and feel bored? Who was he, really? How long had he been traversing this extraordinary land? Is it reality or a dream? ‘This must be true dreamcore,’ he thought. But after this thought, did he open his eyes, or perhaps did he close them?”

The painting is illuminated by violet LED lights, which create stars on the canvas and an aura visible around it in the photographs. The lights highlight the entire painting, the moon, and change depending on the time. The illumination is battery-powered - using AA batteries.

Each painting is numbered and hand-signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by Don Simon. The painting comes directly from the artist’s studio. All paintings are hand-painted. They are created from scratch—beginning with the construction of the stretcher from wood, stretching the canvas, and creating the artwork by the artist himself (except for a few exceptions in the collection, where specially purchased canvas was used, or works painted directly on walls).

The paintings are sold without frames—the first image is just a visualization preview. The painting may not have the perfect square or rectangular shape due to the irregularities of the stretcher, as it was created by hand from scratch, and these irregularities appeared by chance, or the stretcher was intentionally curved for imitation or other purposes aligned with the piece’s message.

Some paintings do not have a stretcher and are sold as just the canvas—ready to be stretched by the buyer.
